BA excerpt

Beauty Awakened comes out in exactly one week, and I am so excited for readers to discover all about Koldo's past--how he lost his wings, and what happens when this hardened warrior who lives only for revenge meets a delicate human who only has a few months to live.

Koldo took Nicola's hand and tugged her toward the exit.
"Koldo," she gasped, though she offered no resistance. "Seriously. What's going on? Has something happened?"
In the background, he thought he heard someone ask if she wanted the police notified.
He tossed her a glance over his shoulder. "Nothing’s wrong, but something’s happened. You're mine. And I'm keeping you."
