I’d like to take a moment to get personal and call out some of the things I’m thankful for on this wonderful day. Just a heads up. If talk of religion bothers you, now might be the time to click away. Fair warning :)
First and foremost, I’m thankful to the Lord, the giver of every good thing in my life. At the age of 25, I thought I was going to die—went to hospital with symptoms of a heart attack—but after a week in the hospital, I walked out. I had a long recovery ahead of me, but looking back, I can see His hand on me every step of the way. I still see His hand on me. He’s brought me out of many horrible situations—physically, mentally and emotionally—and He’s poured blessing and health and abundance into me, granting mercy and grace when I so didn’t deserve it. I’m just gonna say it. I love Jesus!
I’m thankful for my family and my friends—what amazing people I have in my life! I’m thankful for my dogs, and I’m thankful for getting to do a job I love. I’m thankful for my agent and my editors—I’m grateful they also fall under the category of friends. I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, and the opportunities to come.
I’m thankful for you, my readers. Your encouragement and support means so much to me. THANK YOU for taking this wild ride with me.
Wishing you all the best!
