Non-LOTU Series Q's

Q: Do you plan to write any more Atlantis books?
A: Nothing is in the works right now. If that ever changes, I will post on the blog and update this answer.

Q: Do you plan to write any more Tales of an Extraordinary Girl books?
A: Right now, nothing is in the works. However, I have an idea for the third story and would really love to write it. So, to answer the question, maybe.

Q: Will you write Dallas's story -- from the Alien Huntress series?  (Speaking the Alien Huntress series, do the books have to be read in order?)
A: I would love to write D's story, but I don't have it worked out in my head yet. I thought I knew, but he resisted, and so I had to place him on the back burner.  That's why we have switched gears a bit and my next book for the Alien Huntress series will actually be a spin-off.  Last Kiss Goodnight comes out December of 2012, and features a new black ops branch of AIR.  And nope, no need to read the books in order.

Q: Where do Red Handed and Blacklisted fall in the Alien Huntress series? And will you be writing any more of the young adult alien huntress books? And what ever happened to the compilation novel, Darkness Eternal?
A: Red Handed and Blacklisted are young adult novels, while the Alien Huntress series itself is an adult series. You do not have to read RH and BL to understand or follow the adult series.  Or, if you just want to read the young adults, you don't have to read the adults to understand the young adults. Their only connection is that they are written in the same world, in the same time frame, and several of the adult characters are teachers at the training school the characters of RH attend.

So, the order for the adults is: Awaken Me Darkly (1st person), Enslave Me Sweetly (1st person), Savor Me Slowly (this is the book I made the switch to 3rd person), Seduce the Darkness (3rd person), Deep Kiss of Winter (3rd person), Ecstasy in Darkness (3rd person), Dark Taste of Rapture (third person).

As for whether there will be more young adults or not, right now nothing is in the works. If that changes, I'll update this answers. As for Darkness Eternal, I'm sad to say that's been put on hold and has no current release date. As soon as that changes, I will change the answer here. (Update: Phoenix, the heroine of RH, had a cameo in the upcoming Dark Taste of Rapture)

Q: Do you plan to write any more books for the Imperia series?
A: Right now, nothing is in the works. And to be honest, it's been so long since I've visited that world, I'm not sure I could stay true to the rules I created.

Q: Seduce the Darkness was published before Tempt Me Eternally (from Deep Kiss of Winter) Yet the story in Tempt me Eternally comes first in the plot arc. Why?
A: I wrote Tempt Me Eternally first -- which was originally slotted to come out in an anthology called Not That Innocent -- yet it was actually published second. And i'm so glad it did! The release date for Not That Innocent had been pushed back (that happens in publishing sometimes) and the publisher offered Kresley Cole -- whose finished story Untouchable was also slotted to be in Not that Innocent -- and I (me? I never know LOL) the Deep Kiss of Winter duology. We jumped on it!

Q: How many books will be in the Intertwined series?
A: Right now, there are four story planned. Intertwined, Unraveled, Twisted (September 2011) and the 4th (no title as of yet)  I'm happy to say there will be a spin-off novel featuring Riley's brothers Max and Nate. No release date for that as of yet.

Q: In Intertwined, Aden can raise the dead. So why doesn't he just let his friends die in Unraveled and then raise them?
A: Aden raises zombies. If his friends died, he could raise them, true, but they would be mindless zombies and they would continue to rot until they were skeletal and hungry for living flesh. He loves them and doesn't want that kind of existence for them.

Q: Will Jake from Catch A Mate every get a book of his own?
A: I hope so! I adore Jake, and do have a story in mind for him. Right now, there's nothing in the schedule, but my fingers are crossed for one day soon. And if not a full length novel, at the very least a short story.

Q: What is the order your books were published?
A: My first published book was The Stone Prince in 2004. My second was The Pleasure Slave. The third, Heart of the Dragon. I ~think~ the 4th was Awaken Me Darkly. And after that, I really can't recall the order. We've got series order at the left side of the main page here at the site, however!
